This beautiful and bright canvas tells a story that has always resonated with me. Our dreams and expectations rarely unfold with success in the way that we think they should or will. However, God’s ways are higher and so much better than ours! I created this as a testament to the beauty and rightness of God’s plans versus ours. I’m continuing to live this out every day and I hope you are blessed by this very special retelling, with humble paint, canvas and wood.

Golden Splendor
Is it day or is it night? The changing trees glow on this stretched canvas, with clouds dancing across the sky. You can feel the breeze! I finished the edges and the movement continues on each side. Autumn glory, shining bright!

Cotton Candy Sky
A morning beach sunrise, captured on canvas with acrylics and a whole lotta of love, from this artist! My love of our skies, has always played a huge role in my artwork and is so inspiring to me. The way that Sunrises and Sunsets can change in seconds, is incredible! The colors are always vibrant with one glance and soft and dreamlike with another. This morning was peaceful and simply lovely with the sounds of the surf, the sea birds and the breath of the beach in my lungs. Yes, I am truly a woman of the mountains-BUT, I also love the ocean. I am in awe of the majesty of God’s creation, with such profound respect and curiosity- and yes, this painting says all that.

Inspired by an amazing photograph, (I wish I knew who captured it), I used thick paint and palette knife on a special round
canvas, that will make you smile every time you see it! Up above the clouds, with the sky lit up, but the fall foliage still sharing it’s colors- stands proud trees and the peaceful sounds of nature. Can you hear it?
